Infrastructure New Zealand is pleased to invite members to our Shaping the RMA: INZ Submission Workshop in Auckland on Thursday 29 January from 7:30am - 10:30am.

These sessions will begin with an overview of the proposed changes to the Resource Management Act, alongside Infrastructure New Zealand’s initial thinking and emerging position on the reforms. This will be followed by a discussion exploring the implications of the changes in more depth, drawing out key opportunities, risks, and considerations for the infrastructure sector.

The second half of the session will be a facilitated workshop, providing members with the opportunity to contribute directly to Infrastructure New Zealand’s views and help inform our submission. This is designed to capture practical insights, sector perspectives, and areas of consensus or concern to strengthen INZ’s advocacy. 

Submissions are now open ​here​ and will close on Friday 13 February at 4:30pm.

We will continue to engage with members throughout this year as the RMA process progresses.
