The WIN Canterbury and NAWIC Canterbury Chapters are pleased to bring you this fabulous new event.

Sit back and relax with a glass of bubbly whilst we entertain and inform you with our selection of fascinating speakers to celebrate International Women's Day at Kate Sheppard House.

Kate Sheppard House is a beautiful setting for a garden party.  Built by Kate and Walter Sheppard in 1887, the house is considered to be the epicenter of western feminism.  Kate lived and worked here during the crucial years of the suffrage campaign and collated the 1893 suffrage petition in the dining room.
