Infrastructure New Zealand, in partnership with Simpson Grierson, is pleased to be hosting a Strategy Workshop focused on enhancing Canterbury’s infrastructure on Wednesday 9 April from 8:30am - 11:30am.

This high-level discussion will bring together a select group of key stakeholders to develop a realistic plan for improving regional connectivity, asset management, and funding mechanisms.

The workshop will explore specific challenges and opportunities for Canterbury, including:

• Strengthening transport links (ports, airports, road/rail integration)

• Enhancing bridge infrastructure

• Exploring funding mechanisms, including asset recycling

• Developing long-term asset management strategies

The insights from this workshop will be compiled into a White Paper to be shared with Government and industry leaders.
