Event Details

As demand for infrastructure grows, there is an increasing need to better use limited public resources. To help support decision making, the Business Case process aims to provide the justification and rationale for undertaking a project or programme. The objective analysis and consistent format of a Business Case allows for easy comparability and transparency and helps enable smart, forward-thinking investment decisions that maximise public value.

Nathan Bittle, Director in the Infrastructure Advisory team at EY, will take members through an introduction to the Business Case process, including a discussion on why we need Business Cases and the different types used in New Zealand. This session gives member an opportunity to learn more about the process, which is applied across a range of sectors, and ask questions to help improve their understanding.
