The Southern committee of the Women's Infrastructure Network (WIN) are pleased to invite you to join them for the Hanley Farms Project Tour on Friday 20 September at 4:00pm. Thank you to our sponsors Whitestone Contracting Limited and Beca for supporting this event.
Over the past five years, Whitestone Contracting has been engaged in the Hanley Farms project, involving tasks such as building community gardens, public toilets, playgrounds, skateparks and landscaping works. This project has been predominantly managed by a team of women, from the project manager to the site foreperson, labourers, and even the digger driver. The upcoming Women's Infrastructure Network Event in Queenstown will feature a presentation from some of the team involved and a tour of the project which is in its final stages of completion.
Come along to see what the talented women in our region have been working on recently, hear about some of the challenges and triumphs along the way and meet and mingle with other women working in the Queenstown Lakes infrastructure industry.
Please note: Attendees to please bring a Hi-vis vest and warm clothing. Parking is available along Forage Road.
