The Auckland chapter of The Infrastructure Collective is pleased to invite you to our Site Visit of the Westhaven Seawall Upgrade on Wednesday, 10 July 2024. We will be offering two sessions: the first at 12:00 pm and the second at 12:30 pm. Spaces are limited!
In response to adverse weather events and king tides causing significant inundation on Westhaven’s northern reclamation in previous years, work is now underway to upgrade the seawall in that location.
The project also involves enhancements to the waterfront area, increased planting and improvement of connections for pedestrians with the surrounding area.
TIC Auckland together with Eke Panuku and JFC Ltd are pleased to invite a group of members to come along to learn more about the project!

Deon Blomerus - Project Manager, JFC
Deon Blomerus is a Project Manager with JFC and will be our host for the visit. He’ll be taking attendees for a walk through the site and introduce everyone to a couple of the JFC team members building the project.
