Infrastructure New Zealand's Women in Infrastructure Network and Beca are pleased to invite you to join us for the WIN Auckland: Sustainability & Career Development Forum event.

This event is dedicated to exploring the intersection of sustainability, infrastructure, and women's career growth. This forum will provide an exceptional platform to delve into the vital role of sustainability in shaping the future of infrastructure, while also addressing the exciting opportunities and pathways for women within this sector.

By examining current trends and exploring the evolving landscape of infrastructure development, we seek to empower and inspire women to pursue fulfilling careers in the industry.

Through interactive discussions, participants will gain valuable insights, network with industry leaders, and discover avenues for professional growth and advancement.

At the event, attendees will have the chance to meet Amelia Linzey, upcoming CEO for Beca. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to hear insights from Nicole Rosie, the CEO of Waka Kotahi, and from Lisa Hinde, the newly appointed Head of Sustainability at Precinct Properties.

Our panel of speakers will share their perspective on sustainability approaches, emerging trends, and the importance of gender diversity within the sector.

Our speakers will answer the following questions:

What does sustainability mean to them and their organisation?

What initiatives or projects has their company undertaken to promote sustainability within the sector?

How do they see sustainability being integrated into the infrastructure sector in the future?

What steps are they taking to address sustainability and climate change concerns within the sector, and how can young women professionals play a significant role in driving sustainable practices?

What are some of the unique opportunities or advancements that they foresee for women in infrastructure, and how can they contribute to driving positive change in the industry?

What advice do they have for young women who aspire to reach sustainability leadership roles within the sector?

In terms of career development, what opportunities or programmes do their organisation provide to support the growth and advancement of young women professionals, particularly in the context of sustainability-focused roles?
