Event Details

Infrastructure NZ's The Infrastructure Collective Network Auckland is pleased to invite you to a close-knit interactive session with an industry leader exclusively for our members. We call it 'The Inner Circle'.

In these exclusive sessions, an industry leader leads a discussion with a small group of The Infrastructure Collective members on a hot topic in infrastructure. You will be participating, not just listening, so bring your questions and opinions along, find out about our expert, and what they are leading in their sector. This session will be limited to 10 people, so you’ll need to be quick to snap up your place at the table.

The Infrastructure Acceleration Fund (IAF) is a key component of the Government’s $3.8 billion Housing Acceleration Fund announced in March 2021. Andrew Brown is currently heading the team at Kāinga Ora which is administering the IAF - a contestable fund of $1 billion designed to allocate funding for Councils to build infrastructure to enable housing developments across Aoteroa.  The IAF is under way, with almost $179 million in funding for seven projects announced by Minister Megan Woods in late July 2022.  You can read the Minister’s announcement here.

This Inner Circle Event will provide a small group of Infrastructure Collective members with the chance to chat with Andrew over a ‘virtual coffee’ to learn more about his recent work with the IAF as well as the career path he took to get there.

THE INNER CIRCLE EXPLAINED

The Inner Circle sessions are a great chance to deep dive into a topic with a smaller group.

This will be a great session for you:

If you are curious to know more about the Infrastructure Acceleration Fund;

You are interested to know more about Andrew’s journey and career path; or

Are curious to know more about working in the intersect between public sector and private sector.

This is the perfect opportunity for you to ask those burning questions and to receive valuable insights and guidance from an experience leader in our sector.
