Omāroro is a 70m diameter concrete reservoir currently under construction at Prince of Wales Park. It is part of Wellington Water’s ongoing work to improve the resilience of the region’s water supply network and increase water storage in the case of a disaster. The tank, which will be buried after its construction to reinstate the park, will have the capacity to store up to 35 million litres of water.
Come and join this site visit (run by HEB Construction) to see an incredible piece of new infrastructure in Wellington, before it is covered over forever! Please ensure you bring to site the following mandatory PPE: steel cap boots, hi-vis vest/jacket, hard hat.
