The Wellington Chapter of Infrastructure New Zealand's network for emerging leaders, The Infrastructure Collective (TIC) is pleased to invite you to join them on Friday 18 October at 1:30pm for a Site Tour of the 61 Molesworth Street Redevelopment Project, sponsored by Beca

This event is a site tour of the 61 Molesworth Street Redevelopment Project which is a commercial office building, currently in construction phase.

The previous building on the site was demolished as a result of the M7.8 Kaikoura earthquake in November 2016. The building was deconstructed down to ground floor level with the existing ground floor slab, foundations and piles left in place. The 61 Molesworth St project is a new 13 storey commercial office building, with a mezzanine carpark level. The building has been designed with a high level of seismic resilience through the incorporation of tuned fluid viscous dampers.

Key project attributes include:

Commercial office space to a base build standard reflecting Grade A and aligning with the Government Building Performance Specification (BPS).

A building with high seismic resilience, with a low-damage design solution incorporating fluid viscous dampers.

Retail offering at the ground floor.

End of Trip (EoT) Facilities.

5 Star NABERSNZ Base Building rating.

6 Star Green Star rating.
