The Infrastructure Collective Canterbury Chapter are please to present the TIC Canterbury: Humes Pipeline Factory Tour on Wednesday 11 October, sponsored by Humes.
Humes Pipeline Systems has been a leading manufacturing and supplier for concrete products for 100 years. The Hornby manufacturing site is the only Humes site still producing spun pipe after many years. At this event, you will get to see how the plant operates, how pipe is spun, how moulds work and more!
Please note: You will be required to bring your own hard hat, safety glasses, yellow (if possible) hi-vis and steel cap boots.
There is no parking available on site, however, you will be able to park across the road at The Hub Hornby, the Working Men's Club, on Smarts Road or on Chestnut Ave.
