The Infrastructure Collective network invites you to attend a site visit hosted by LT McGuiness (lead contractor) to see the Tākina Convention Centre up close and hear about some of challenges faced during design and construction.

Wellington's new Tākina Convention Centre is the largest built infrastructure investment in the Capital since the Wellington Regional Stadium over two decades ago. Due to be completed in 2023, Tākina is resilient and sustainable, having been awarded a 5 Green Star Design certification – the first convention centre in New Zealand to achieve this standard.

PPE is required for this site visit, including, steel cap boots, hi-vis vest/jacket, hard hat (no spare PPE will be available on site).
