WIN Wellington together with GHD are delighted to invite you to come and hear more about RiverLink, a $700M infrastructure project.  RiverLink will provide flood resilience to Lower Hutt in conjunction with improvements to the road, rail, cycle and pedestrian infrastructure.  Thus enabling the city centre to reconnect with the Te Awa Kairangi river and for the project to be a catalyst for revitalisation of the city. RiverLink a partnership between Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, Greater Wellington Regional Council, Hutt City Council, Taranaki Whānui ki te Upoko o te Ika and Ngāti Toa Rangatira.

In doing so, Amelia will explore her efforts in supporting energy transition and decarbonising industry to help generate positive, enduring outcomes. 

This event is open to a small group of 10 members from The Infrastructure Collective (formerly Emerging Talent) to chat with Amelia about her career path, experiences and the work underway at Hiringa Energy.

TIC Auckland: CRL Maungawhau/Mount Eden Station Site Visit

The Infrastructure Collective Auckland network invites you to attend a site visit to the City Rail Link (CRL), which is the largest transport infrastructure project ever to be undertaken in New Zealand. CRL is a 3.45km twin-tunnel underground rail link up to 42 meters below the city center, transforming the downtown Waitematā Station (Britomart) into a two-way through-station that better connects the city’s rail network.

It includes a redeveloped Maungawhau / Mount Eden Station, where the CRL connects with the North Auckland (Western Line) and new underground stations - one mid-town at Wellesley and Victoria Streets called Te Waihorotiu Station (Aotea) and Karanga-a-Hape Station (Karangahape) just off Karangahape Road with entrances at both Mercury Lane and Beresford Square.

Even more so for those who are under-served whānau furthest from the labour market, such as young people, people who are not in education, employment or training, sole parents and people who have experienced long-term unemployment or sporadic, low wage employment. The more we begin to understand the future workforce we are a step closer to identifying the system levers that enable these barriers and how we collectively address them.
